    ASSEMBLY YOUTH OF PERCUSSION CONCERT OFFERED IN GREAT CASLPC



    • Pleasant was the concert given by the students of the CASLPC Percussion Ensemble.

    As part of the activities offered by the Center for the Arts in San Luis Potosi "Centennial" and also as part of the educational program offered by the institution in different areas of CASLPC, the percussion workshop students in the area of ​​Music gave a concert involving more than 18 musicians on stage, playing melodies in a variety of instruments by famous composers of classical music.

    One of the predominant instruments of the evening was the marimba, an instrument widely used in Latin America and representative of the folklore of their countries, such as southern Mexico. Another musical instruments predominated xylophone, emerged in the eighteenth century, much like the marimba.

    The concert began with the assembly of young people in the direction of Maestro Rolando Gonzalez Martinez, a Minuet by renowned classical composer JS Bach. The interpretation was conducted by Salvador Bernal students Hector Trejo on the marimba and the young Carlos Andres Carrillo Garcia in the xylophone. Continued the concert with a Minuet in G, the same composer, the young Jose Santiago Reyes Galván on the marimba and Emanuel de Jesus Camila on the xylophone.

    Then he played a Percussive Counterpoint, Melody percussionist Alan Keown. The young Marco Eugenio Lopez Galvan was accompanied by Ayopechtli Moana O. Espinoza, both on the marimbas. Then he heard another duet with Oscar G. Vasquez marimba and young Miguel Angel T. Gallegos xylophone.

    Following the night he heard a piece of music of French composer and theorist Jean Philippe Rameau, "I Tambourine" by the second adult assembly. Continued the concert with the first adult ensemble, which played an album for children Anatoli Ivanov, with the arrangement and transcription for percussion ensemble of well known Russian composer PI Tchaikovsky, who is known for its melodies that combine literature and music, as are the traditional stories of children's literature to form this album.

    Before the end was seen again a work by composer JS Bach "The Joke" with percussionist Ulises Ventura Fierro, Rolando G. Martinez, William H. Valentin Perez and Galkin. To end the concert will be performed one of the tracks on the piano cycle "October" "The Seasons" by PI Tchaikovsky with Valentin arrangements Calkin in the vibes.
