The Arts Center of San Luis Potosi Centennial will host a national stage production. For a month the owner of Alicia Sánchez and Company / The Moving Theatre (asyc), leads a multidisciplinary effort with children, as well as creators and artists from San Luis Potosi, which will be presented in both Mexico City and in the city of Potosi.
The presentations under the title "I declare on behalf of ... ... (General Mosquito)", will begin next April 29 at the Palace of Fine Arts at 11 am and at the Teatro Benito Juárez at 17 hours in Mexico City , and one day later at the Arts Center at 20 hours.
Alicia Sanchez, with respect to the show said: "asyc again gives us a show where dance, theater and video installation, combine to lead to a staging contemporary theater with children potosinos in unconventional spaces. I chose San Luis Potosi because the Center for the Arts found a wonderful place with all the availability to create this show. There is an ongoing commitment by each of the areas of the Center to contribute to enrich the proposal. "
The renowned Mexican choreographer on "I declare on behalf of ... ... (General Mosquito)", explained: "The reality of many children born or grow in an atmosphere of war or conflict zones. Plasma by means of pictures, images and scenes, supported by the video installation, an undeniable reality. Body language and playful take the viewer to feel the transformation of these little people who lose their innocence, their pure sense of life.
