CINEMA "POETRY OF REALITY 'IN THE CENTER OF THE ARTS

Among the activities that the Arts Center of San Luis Potosi Centennial presents the film series "Poetics of reality", which features a fictional documentary series from different countries in order to analyze them within the workshop film "Ethics and aesthetics of Dogma 95", this name comes from the last cycle that was titled "Dogma 95, Creators and precursors."

This conjuntándolo with the film society, on display since the opening of the Center for the Arts, and is taught by professors Jorge Pardo and Juan Jose Ramirez Gamez. The purpose of this activity is to create an analysis of the films shown, plus it features in each cycle follows a specific topic.

The next film to be projected is called "Suite Havana" Cuban film, which has the peculiarity that has no professional actors. The film club is open to the public from 18:30 pm each Tuesday.

The workshop lasts approximately 12 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday from 19 to 21 hours in the media room of the Center for the Arts and New Technologies (SING) Center for the Arts.

We currently are programmed with a narrative poetic documentary, which at some point fall in the fiction, which makes the viewer create doubts about the film. That is why at the end of each projection, the group talks between the various views of students and assistants.

The film on Tuesday July 6, led by name "Silent Light", this is the story of a family of Mennonites living in an area in Chihuahua, living well with people their own culture as locals . It's basically the beliefs and similarities as human beings share with other cultures.
